On Friday the 4th of December, five of our 'Stand Up! RASASH' traveled to Holyrood to give a presentation and speak on a panel about the issues they are facing as young people, and the ways in which they are tackling them.

The event - 'Young Voices Preventing Sexual Violence' - was organised jointly with 'Rape Crisis Scotland', 'LRCC Stamp' and 'ERCC Do You Know?' in the Garden Lobby of the Scottish Parliament. It was intended as a platform on which to showcase the work done by young people in sexual violence prevention.

The 'Stand Up!' presentation began with a short video about the project and its history, which you can watch here. Charlie, Chloe and Hannah then took to the stage to talk about their experience as Ambassadors, in a presentation which was met with high praise from the 150 attendees, both in person and on social media.

Meegan and Charlie then answered questions and responded to comments from the audience as part of a panel discussion with young people from the other projects.

We were very proud of all the work put in by the Ambassadors for this event - listening to their ideas and efforts was truly inspiring and we can't wait to see what lies in store for 'Stand Up!' next! You can find out more about 'Stand Up!' and keep up to date with our social media pages here
