Support line
The support line at RASASH is often the first point of contact for people reaching out to our service. When you contact the support line, you will be met with kindness and empathy, and will speak to dedicated support line staff.
People can use the support line as and when is needed. If you are struggling and need to talk to someone that is what we are here for - a space where you can speak and be heard, and where you will be believed and supported.
We are equally happy to chat if you would just like a distraction for a little while and we can talk about the weather, your favourite sports or animals … whatever you need in that moment.
We are open from 1pm - 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Call us on 03330 066909

Or email us at support@rasash.org.uk
After 5pm, Rape Crisis Scotland are open daily until midnight 08088 010302
The support line can also arrange an appointment to discuss how our service may be able to support you, as well as find out a little bit more about your situation if you choose to self-refer for further support. However there is never any obligation to share anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, and you can choose how much or how little to tell us.
During the appointment, we will describe the different services we can offer and how they work and we will let you know about our waiting times.
The support line also answers queries and provides information to individuals or their loved ones, and professionals working with survivors. If we don’t know something, we will find it out for you!
If you are a professional supporting a survivor and need some confidential advice on how to provide trauma-informed support, please get in touch and we will do our best to help. We work with professional colleagues across schools, health, police, social work and the third sector as well as private counsellors.
Please contact us by telephone, text message or email.
