Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI)
Taking Part in YPI? Work with RASASH
Are you taking part in the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) and thinking about supporting RASASH?
First of all - thank you. Choosing to learn about and represent a charity that supports survivors of sexual violence is a powerful thing to do
We’re here to help you create a strong, informed, and confident presentation.
How We Can Support You
If your group is focusing on RASASH, we can offer:
- An info pack
Easy-to-understand information about what we do, who we support, and why our work matters. - Marketing materials
Logos, images, and key messages you can use in your presentation (so it looks great and stays accurate). - A chat with our team
Got questions? We can arrange a quick call or online chat to help you better understand our work. - A visit to your school or our centre (if possible)
Depending on availability, we may be able to offer a visit to you to chat in person or to our centre so you can see our space and learn more in person.
Choose One Person to Get in Touch
To help us respond quickly and avoid confusion, please nominate one person from your group to contact us.
This makes it much easier for us to support you and keeps everything organised
How to Contact Us
Get in touch by emailing: prevention@rasash.org.uk
When you email, let us know:
- Your school name
- Your group members (first names only is fine)
- Your deadline
- What kind of support you’d like
We’ll get back to you as soon as we can!
A Quick Note
RASASH supports people affected by sexual violence. Some of the topics you’ll be learning about can feel serious or emotional.
Please take care of yourselves and each other while working on your project - and speak to a teacher or trusted adult if anything feels overwhelming.
Tips for a Strong YPI Presentation
Here are a few things that can really help your group stand out:
- Show you understand the issue – not just what RASASH does, but why it matters
- Use real facts (from us!) – accuracy is key
- Think about impact – how does our work change lives?
- Be creative – videos, stories, or visuals can make your presentation memorable
- Work as a team – make sure everyone has a role
Thank You
By choosing to learn about RASASH, you’re helping raise awareness about an issue that affects many people but isn’t always talked about.
That matters more than you might realise.
