RASASH are seeking new board members

There has never been a more critical time to support work to stop violence against women

About being a Board Member:
Board members will play a critical role in the future development and governance of the service. We would also welcome candidates with a future interest in taking on the role of the chair.
Working to feminist values, we are seeking a diverse range of women with a commitment to the work we do across Highland.

Values, ethos, passion, and commitment are essential qualities for our board members. We are particularly interested in applicants from less represented groups and those with knowledge and experience of finance, funding, governance, and strategy.

Volunteering with RASASH

If you have a few hours to spare each week, or just want to donate a few hours of your time on an ad hoc basis, why not think about volunteering with RASASH? There are lots of ways you can get involved.  We will be recruiting different opportunities very soon and are always keen to hear at any time from those interested in being a trustee. Keep an eye out for updates...… We’d love to hear from you if you are interested in donating your skills as a writer, researcher, graphic artist, social media master, website wizard, campaigner or and fundraiser.

We would also like to hear from you if you are trained and experienced in/or offer a particular professional therapy (such as EMDR/CBT/aromatherapy) as we are always keen to extend the range of services we offer.

In return, you'll gain new skills, we offer a comprehensive training programme to all our volunteers, you`ll meet new people and have the satisfaction of knowing you are making a valuable contribution to supporting survivors and to ending sexual violence.

If you are between the ages of 13-25 why not check out our young person's volunteering project, 'Stand Up!'?
